Playas Larga and Blanca Gallery
A gallery of images taken on Playas Larga and Blanca. These beaches are on one long strand of the Pacific Ocean just south of Ixtapa Zihuatanejo, Guerrero, Mexico, in the general area of the Ixtapa Zihuatanejo International airport. This is an open-ocean stretch of beach perfect for long beach walks and beach combing, where dolphins can often be spotted frolicking in the surf all year ’round and in the winter season, particularly between December and February, migrating whales can be seen spouting and at times breaching off-shore.
