Troncones Beach, which includes Manzanillo Bay and runs north to Majahua, is located about 30 minutes north of Zihuatanejo and Ixtapa off highway 200. With a dozen small Bed-and-Breakfast type hotels and long, sandy beaches with rocky points, Troncones is a perfect day trip from Ixtapa Zihuatanejo or a quiet and peaceful vacation and surfing destination in its own right.
